Northeastern finished 8th out of 19 teams at a very tough Sidney Lehman Sectional.
Northeastern qualified Aaron Howard who won the sectional meet at heavyweight, Marcus Reeder who was 3rd in the 140 pound class, and Brandon Setty who was 3rd in the 189 pound class.
Northeastern also had alternates (5th) at 119 pounds with Cameron Pierce, 135 pounds with Cole Howard, 215 pounds with Cody Rice.
Northeastern finished 2nd in the OHC to Mechanicsburg, and over Greenview, West Liberty, Triad and Catholic Central

West Liberty — Northeastern High School opened its wrestling season with a pair of victories in a tri-meet Monday, Dec. 7.
The Jets beat Lima Central Catholic 44-34 and bested West Liberty-Salem 54-21.
Against the hosts, Northeastern got pins from Jessy Reeder (112), Devan Kaffenbarger (119), Marcus Reeder (145) and Levi Cauley (160) and a win from Baylor Deselem (135).
Against WLS, Kyle Conley (152) and Bam Setty (215) won by pin.
For the Tigers, Britt Wooten (125) and Corey Thompson (189) won by pin and Tyler Sachs (145) won by decision.
